Hey guys! Sorry for taking so long to blog, i've been really busy for the past few days, and everytime i wanna blog, i really don't know how exactly to put my feelings into words... I do have a lot of things to talk about, like how as I'm walking to church or someplace else, i get this sudden inspiration to blog certain issues, but by the time i get home, the inspiration just wears off.
YES camp was really good, as it was a different -and a much better experience- from the previous YESs, in that the Holy Spirit was a gentle and abiding spirit, and the experiences weren't overly dramatic. It didn't put me on an emotional high too, i didn't feel sooo unreasonably happy or excited, know what i mean?
Maybe it's because i wasn't a facilitator this time, so i felt more left-out, which is good in a way, coz i had more time to open my ears to listen to His voice and reflect on my relationship with God. Which i realised, wasn't as close as i have always imagined. In making MY various decisions, i left Him out, tried to take control over MY life, to follow MY desires and wants. I didnt trust Him enough to believe that he has great plans for me, that he alone knows what's best.
Throughout the camp, i was bogged down with feelings of extreme negativity, getting upset over silly little things that weren't really issues, come to think of it now. All i could think about was how hurt i was when someone snapped at me, not realising that they themselves were stressed and me adding on to it was definitely not helping at all. I was being self-centered as usual, forgetting the feelings of others.
Later on Daniel and Matthew shared with me on how what i felt on recon night (coz that was the night that i esp felt very, very tired and just plain down), was a result of people rejecting God's love when it was pouring down on them, and all around. That rejection was reflected back to us and so we had a taste of how God felt when His children weren't ready to surrender to Him.
Maybe some of you might not agree with this, but anyways, that opened my eyes. You see, if what i felt that night was just a small fraction of His feelings, can you even fathom how sorrowful He must have felt when we weren't ready to let Him into our hearts! Just like how i refused to let Him be the center of my life made him sad too. It's a terrible feeling, i tell you. I cannot even imagine how deeply He loves us to feel that way for us. I really thank God for opening my eyes with that experience. It is easier said than done, letting God into our lives and all, but i think trying is a start, right?
But then again, everytime we get this desire to want to do something good, obstacles always come our way, that leaves us torn in the middle of facing them and making tough decisions (which also mean having to grow up quickly where this is concerned), or just running away from them. I'm not talking about those crushes and stuff like that -That i can deal with- but issues like being left with no choice but to take more responsibility, where matters of the family are concerned. It's really hard to put aside your own decisions you know.
Right, i'll blog about this some other time then. Need to catch up on some sleep. : )

I don't understand why computers in offices have to be connected to one big machine. Right now, i can't access any of the important files or my lotus email as the server is down. And the calls can't get through to the voice mail. I find it kinda silly that everything's all connected to the stupid server room. Just because the aircon in that particular room is down, the server got overheated and tripped.
Why can't they get a server that doesn't overheat easily? it will make things so much easier. And since i'm the admin, they pressurized me to get the aircon guy to come down asap, which is not easy ok! i had to be the bad guy once again.
It's ridiculous, really. Looking at my working colleagues getting all flustered over the big server. Not that i'm not doing that as well.
Heard my last working day's on the 27th June. Frankly, i can't wait for that day to come. I'm sick of handling the problems around here.

I finally managed to escape from work! Took half day leave today cause my colleagues kept telling me i looked sickly and pale and wasn't as lively as usual. Even that lady who keeps pmsing on me told me to take mc. So of course, i seized the opportunity and went home after lunch. Heh, i'm gonna take leave tomorrow too, like i said i would.
And for the 1st time in months, i had a nice nap in the afternoon, before heading down to church for evening mass, which is also something i haven't done in a while : ) Had dinner with Spencer, David, Andre, Samuel and Rene. Those guys are crazy man; them and their antics. But in a nice way heh. Some of us headed down to the park later. They went about talking about stuff that guys normally talk about, i didn't really say much coz half the time i couldn't catch what they were discussing. They used it against me though hmph. I won't say much, except that i seriously got 'suaned' so many times today.
I am gonna sleep late tonight, cause i'm not working tomorrow, haha! Hmm...I should have rented a dvd from video ezzy.

I really shouldn't be here working today.... My head's throbbing and my flu's worsened. But then i can't possibly take mc when i'm gonna call in "sick" next tuesday and will be on leave on the 15th, 16th (yes camp) and 21st(electone exam...and i'm not even prepared). Sigh.
Anyways, the main purpose for my blogging today is to say this:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SPENCER!!! :)
May u have the time of your life today, with great friends to share it with you. And may your wish come true too, you know what i'm talking about haha. Have a great year ahead!
I'm sorry I can't celebrate your birthday, though i really want to. I bet u guys will have fun tonight eh? I'm missing out, sadly. Oh well. Update me about it k? : )
